Put every quote on the same basis
Ask each park for the price of the site type you would actually use, for the same arrival window and stay length. An open-site quote and a covered-site quote are different offers. A price for one month may also have different conditions from an extended-stay agreement.
Record which items are included and which are separate. If a charge has not been explained, leave it marked as unknown rather than treating it as zero. This keeps a low headline price from obscuring a detail you still need to confirm.
Use this monthly comparison checklist
- Base site rent: the rate for your specific site type and dates.
- Electricity: whether it is included, separately metered, or billed another way.
- Other utilities: how water, sewer, and trash are handled.
- Everyday services: laundry, internet, and any other services you expect to use.
- Vehicle or site extras: any applicable parking or covered-site charge.
- One-time costs: deposits and other move-in charges, with refund terms.
These are questions to ask, not a claim that every park charges for each item. Separate refundable deposits from recurring costs so you can compare both the initial payment and an ordinary month's expenses.
Ask how electricity will be calculated
If electricity is metered, request the billing method and ask how readings are recorded. For a purely illustrative calculation, 800 kilowatt-hours at a hypothetical $0.15 per kilowatt-hour would equal $120 before any other applicable charges. Neither number is a Marti Drive quote or a prediction of your RV's consumption.
Your own usage history is more useful than a generic allowance. Consider the seasons included in your stay, your RV, and how you use its equipment. Ask how billing questions are resolved and when utility payments are due.
Read a founders offer in two parts
The deadline to qualify and the duration of the rate are separate details. Ask what action qualifies you, whether a particular site type is included, and when the regular rate would apply. Do not assume that joining an waiting list reserves a space or locks in a price.
At Marti Drive, the planned standard rate is $699 per month plus utilities. The founders offer is $650 per month plus utilities through November 1, 2026. Covered sites are $1,050 per month plus utilities, with a $950 founders rate plus utilities. Eligibility and the duration of the discounted rate will be confirmed before booking. See the current rate information for updates.
Include the cost of your daily routine
Once you have comparable quotes, consider your route to work and the services you would use regularly. A location that fits your schedule may be more useful than a lower site rate farther from your job. Compare actual routes for your shift rather than relying on a general metro-area description.
